David J. Travers, the President and Qualified Manager of Guardian, was co-founder of Delta Personnel.  Guardian was created as a result of Mr. Travers' long standing interest and affiliation with law enforcement and emergency services.  He has been involved in law enforcement, fire services, emergency care and private investigation since 1971.  His background includes service as a firefighter and ambulance attendant in New Hampshire as well as working for a private investigative firm in Massachusetts.  He was also a per diem Police Officer serving as an undercover narcotics investigator.  In California he served as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Alameda County, assigned to their Mounted Patrol Unit.  He recently retired from the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department where he served for thirteen years as a Level 1 Reserve Deputy Sheriff.
